We are currently hiring a Director of Pharmacy based in Worcester.
This position is responsible for the staffing and efficient daily operations of the Worcester pharmacy.
As Co-Chair of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee, this position plays a key role in the establishment of policies and standards for pharmacy activities, in accordance with the requirements of state and federal regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies.
Oversees multiple pharmacy operational, clinical, and financial procedures and systems.
Responsible for contractual pharmacy relationships and performance, as well as relationships with academic institutions engaged in the training of pharmacists.

Essential Functions:
As a member of the health center's leadership team, participates in strategic planning and policy development for the organization.
As Co-Chair of the health center's Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee (P&T), leads the committee in the development of policies and procedures that assure the provision of quality care and patient safety related to medications and pharmaceuticals.
These policies govern the major activities of the pharmacy including, but not limited to:
inventory control and supply management, timely and accurate medication dispensing, disposal of medications/expired medications, medication recall, medication errors, therapeutic substitution, adverse drug reporting, and formulary management.
Assures that Kennedy CHC policies are continually consistent with state and federal regulations and accrediting bodies, such as the Joint Commission, with particular attention to the federal 340b Pharmacy program.
Directs all Worcester pharmacy operational and clinical procedures, systems, and activities, assuring that they are in compliance with policies approved by Kennedy CHC's P&T Committee and with all licensure and governing body requirements including but not limited to:
Board of Registration in Pharmacy and Office of Pharmacy Affairs, including 340B Drug Pricing Program.
Establishes and maintains appropriate department financial controls.
Implements and monitors appropriate billing and collections practices, including posting of payments, collection and reconciliation of copayments, application of the sliding fee scale, and reconciliation of credits for returns of outdated stock.
Works closely with Finance and Billing Department on third party contracts, patient statements, and reconciling invoices for pharmacy inventory purchases.
Requirements:
Licensure with the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Pharmacy required Minimum 3-5 years retail, community health center pharmacy experience Minimum 5 years management experience to include responsibility for pharmacy operations, clinical pharmacy programs, and staff management.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
