Adoption Case Management Supervisor

Overview:
New Hire Sign-on Bonus:
$5,000.
00 Provides adoption services which include home studies, child adoption assessments, case management and supervision of case management staff.
May also be required to engage in special projects.
Responsibilities:
Provides case management of children with a goal of permanency.
Provides highly skilled individual, group and family evaluation and treatment services to clients.
Provides services through home visits as required.
Participates in adoption parties as assigned.
Completes assessments in accordance with program guidelines.
Travels independently for service delivery.
Develops and maintains contacts with DCF case referral sources.
Apprises the Director of Adoption and Family Services of significant issues/concerns and carries out activities in keeping with program objectives, agency policy and supervisory direction.
Communicates relative to cases by telephone, computer, and in person.
Maintains strict confidentiality with respect to cases.
Supervises case management staff.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in social work from a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education or a related masters degree.
Valid Massachusetts Drivers License Knowledge of Massachusetts and agency requirements for children served by the Department of Children and Families.
Good professional judgment regarding child welfare.
Supervisory skills.
Ability to use computers and other office equipment.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with children, foster and pre-adoptive parents, DCF staff, co-workers and others.
Access to a reliable motor vehicle insured at minimum level required by Childrens Friend.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
