This position will oversee the recruiting, compliance, talent development, operating standard implementation and strategic planning for all behavioral health programs across the platform.
Staff will be accountable for financial performance, employee engagement, strategic optimization, staffing models and will be actively involved with program development for the agency.
Performance Responsibilities Provides operational leadership, execution, and management to ensure that the mission and core values of the company are put into practice.
Responsible for operational metrics including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), staffing, growth, and financial targets.
Partners with other leaders to drive ongoing process improvements to enhance clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction, employee satisfaction and cost efficiency.
Collaborates with Business Office to address revenue cycle issues.
Improves the capabilities at all levels in the behavioral health department through assessment and development of existing people and the recruitment of talent.
Accountable for ensuring all facilities in each region align with company operating standards for behavioral health in conjunction with clinical and medical leaders.
Establishes a high level of collaboration, motivation, and morale in each region.
Works collaboratively and communicates effectively with Center Managers and Regional Directors to provide quality patient care services.
Provides leadership and direction to team on all behavioral health program, policy, and procedure.
Partner with the billing department to ensure documentation of services to meet the requirements for Behavioral Health reimbursement.
Work closely with the area medical directors, regional medical director, center managers, regional directors, care coordinators, counselors, and center medical directors to ensure comprehensive delivery of services and quality patient care.
Maintain appropriate professional conduct and appearance.
Adhere to Company policies regarding confidentiality.
All other duties and tasks as assigned.
QualificationsQualifications Master's degree in a Behavioral Health area of practice Social Work, Counseling, Psychology and Substance Use Disorder.
Licensed Independent Practitioner (i.
e.
, LCSW, LPC, LMFT, independently licensed substance use disorder counselor).
Certification in Addiction is recommended/desired.
Minimum 5 years previous experience in behavioral health leadership preferred.
Previous experience in addiction services.
Skill in developing and maintaining records, writing reports, and responding to correspondence.
Skill in developing and maintaining quality assurance and quality control standards.
Ability to react calmly, objectively, and effectively in emergency situations.
Ability to communicate clearly with patients, staff, and clients.
Excellent people skills:
ability to get along with, motivate and work effectively with others.
Knowledge of and proven experience navigating and documenting in an EMR system.
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize based on severity of need.
