One of my clients in the Worcester area is looking for a Senior QA Analyst for a direct hire
position
. Must have solid test script development and automated test framework and automated tools. Quality Center experience is must. Must also be local to MA due to a required in-person interview.
This candidate's primary responsibility is to provide technical leadership for QA activities. This candidate will serve as a subject matter expert from a QA perspective. Lead cross functional teams to set QA standards and guidelines. Assist the QA
supervisor
in setting direction and governance across AS. Champion QA processes and testing tools throughout AS.

In addition, lead efforts to extend the current automation and test management framework. Participate in the decision making process with all levels of Application
services
staff and management, as well as on project teams and make recommendations to effect change
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Education: Bachelor's Degree or professional level of knowledge in a specialized field, or equivalent, related experience.
Experience: 4 - 6 years - or Associates Degree equivalent plus 6 - 8 years
Strong test script development and automated test framework and automated tools
Quality Center experience is must
Knowledge: Complete understanding and knowledge of industry practices, standards, and concepts within field of work. Applies them to perform or lead work requiring extensive analytical business skills
Decision Making: Makes decisions related to a wide variety of situations within management limits. Interprets guidelines and procedures, applying judgment and discretion. Decisions influence portions of a project, client relationships and/or expenditures
Supervision Received: Works independently under general supervision. Work is reviewed for overall adequacy in meeting objectives
Leadership: Provides guidance and training to less experienced staff as needed. Takes a lead role in group, team or project
Problem Solving /Operations/Direct Work Involvement: Applies knowledge to determine solutions to complex problems with minimal direction. Uses research and analysis to develop innovative and practical solutions which are consistent with organizational objectives
Client Contacts: Contacts other departments and or external organizations or parties frequently. Contacts are primarily at or below upper management levels. Represents organization on specific projects. Communication may involve persuasion, and negotiation
Demonstrated mastery of the duties and responsibilities of the IT QA Analyst II position, as outlined in the
job
description
Exceptional analytical, decision making, and problem solving abilities
Thorough understanding of software quality best practices, test strategy and planning, test case development, defect tracking, and test automation
In-depth experience with software deployments
In-depth experience with test environment management
Experience with automation tools
Proven ability to recommend complex software solutions, sometimes involving unfamiliar systems
Able to

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
