MYR - Motivating Youth Recovery: MYR is a 24-bed acute detoxification and stabilization program (up to 30 days) for adolescents 13-17. The program provides medically monitored detoxification, comprehensive assessment and diagnosis, treatment, and aftercare planning and referral. MYR is a family-centered, strengths-based model that will introduce and engage the adolescent and family members to recovery. MYR through its existing connections to community services for adolescents statewide, will develop comprehensive ongoing treatment planning that will provide continued support and treatment for the adolescent and family upon returning to their community. The program is licensed by The Massachusetts' Department of Public Health, Bureau of Substance Abuse Services. A master level clinical director, nurses, master level clinicians, case managers and residential counselors staff the program. The program has 24-hour access to consulting physicians and 2 part-time psychiatrists.
Overall management of the MYR program
Hiring, staff performance evaluations, fiscal management, budgeting and insurance of day to day operation of the program
Leadership and supervision of a diverse multidisciplinary staff
Maintain program licensure and CARF accreditation, insuring ongoing clinical quality of services, program marketing and participation in ongoing statewide adolescent residential providers group.
Demonstrate outstanding communication skills
Demonstrate an ability to develop respectful interpersonal relationships with clients while maintaining appropriate boundaries
Master's degree and licensed at the independent level of licensure with at least 5 years of supervisory and management experience.
Extensive experience working with an adolescent population that has co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders
Current valid US-issued driver's license and ability to provide registered and insured automobile for work related purposes.
Desire to serve others required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
