Invo HealthCare Associates (INVO) has excellent Teacher of the Hearing Impaired opportunities available in the Worcester area. Qualified service providers will provide service delivery in school and educational programs for the 2014-2015 School Year.

Key Competencies and Skills:
Interpret to students identified as hearing impaired/deaf, under the supervision of the teacher, in accordance with lesson plans for the purpose of supporting student comprehension and assisting the teacher in improving students' academic success through a defined course of study.
Interpret subject-specific tests and skill assessments under the guidance of a classroom teacher or resource teacher for the purpose of evaluating students' language ability and subject
Provide teachers with input for the purpose of assisting in evaluating student progress and/or student objectives
Participate in instructional planning and student evaluation
Attend Individual Education Plan (IEP) Meetings as needed
Maintain appropriate records
Ability to effectively communicate with teachers, administrators, and parents
Ensure all services are performed in accordance with state laws and regulations
Perform other Teacher of the Hearing Impaired duties/responsibilities required by the Program and within the scope of licensure and/or certification
Credentials and
Experience:
State licensure or ability to obtain required licensure
Fluent in ASL and Signed English at a proficient level
Experience working in school programs or with pediatric populations is preferred
